About the Album
The Blue Album — the fifth studio album by Nogu Svelo! — was conceived as the first part of the dilogy Happy Because Pregnant. The second part is marked in green. It was recorded and released in 1997 by Soyuz Records. The album features songs that later became hits: “Moscow Romance,” “Lilliputian Love,” “Naked Clown,” and “Four Friends.”
Review
After the triumphant nationwide success of "Remember Haramamburu", the sharp-tongued pop-punks of "Nogu Svelo"! slipped into the shadows — but only for a while. Last year, they came back with an album intriguingly titled "Happy Because Pregnant" (Blue) and returned to the charts once again. Songs from that record, “Lilliputian Love” and “Four Friends,” have gradually become true nationwide hits. As a result, according to the Zvukovaya Dorozhka awards, "Nogu Svelo!" was named Best Alternative Band of 1998.
